Miss Libertine plays its primary function as a music venue for Melbourne’s young and young-at-heart very well. A fantastic sound system across all the dance floors sees it attracting some great nights, with sounds ranging from strictly indie to hardcore hip-hop.

A Friday residency by the Sydney Purple Sneakers DJs has long been popular, filling a gap in the indie DJ market, garnering a host of great international guests. Rotating Saturday rosters see outfits like Favela Rock with their hip-hop stylings interspersed with great local and international acts.

During the day a simple menu consisting of pizzas and pub food feeds the surrounding office workers and students at reasonable prices.
