Shying away from the usual hot spot locations for a café, friends Chris McLoughlin and Matt Millen (ex- Kinfolk) found an old shed in an inner pocket of West Melbourne and converted it into a bright little lunch spot.

Open from Tuesday to Sunday, Roller Door brings a strong focus on ethical produce to their surprisingly ample breakfast and lunchtime menu. A wide selection of breakfast dishes including eggs rustic - free range poached eggs with garlic butter roasted mushrooms, capers, blanched broccolini, torn basil & crumbled goat’s fetta are available and for lunch there is an impressive array of freshly made ciabatta rolls.

With its striking illustration on the exterior, it'd be hard to miss the Roller Door. Whilst a lot of traffic comes from local businesses and commuters from nearby North Melbourne station who’s after quick take-away, it’s nice to sit down and hang out a little in this relaxed and welcoming garage space.
