MoPho Noodle Bar is another addition to the growing St Ali Group in South Yarra. Aiming to cater to the residents and workers in the area, Mo Pho offers an honest and refreshing take on Asian cuisines. The menu is straight forward, featuring a good selection of Soup Noodles, Wok Noodles, Salad Noodles and Curries.

Chef Benjamin Cooper puts together his interpretation of various Asian styles with a little bit of Western approach. There is a mix combination of Japanese, Malaysian, Chinese, Thai and Singaporean styles in many of the dishes. Instead of the usual chicken, beef or seafood options offered at many Asian restaurants, MoPho comes up with a daring and feisty crossed-combination of two different cuisines. For instant, the Sambal Olek with Shangai noodle is Malaysian meets Chinese cuisines and the noodle dish of scallops and crispy bacon is East meets West.

Like their approach towards the menu, the interior at the noodle bar is a simple and understated. The open kitchen is set as the centre of sight, sound and smell around the modern finish of tables and stools in the room. MoPho Noodle Bar is a fresh pick for rich Asian cuisines with very little fuss.
