Founded in 2005 and located behind a small shop front in an ‘old school’ foodie strip, Dench never fail to charm us with their organic flour breads, friendly service and a decadently good café menu. The thing that has kept them great is the consistency of their products, from the 'house' white bread and the olive and rosemary breads to the seasonal fruit pastries.

Tony Dench has a history with many of the top bakeries in the city, and his experience has made Dench Bakers one of the best. Breads are now baked offsite to allow for the demand of the business' wholesale arm. If anything though, this enhances your experience, as it allows the onsite kitchen to produce even more breakfast and lunch options, as well as their terrific take-home meals.
