With the combination of chef David Danks (ex Public House) and co-owner Iain Munro (ex Cafe Le Chien) Cornershop was bound to be something to watch.

Across from the beautiful Sun Theatre in Yarraville, this cafe offers a bustling brunch atmosphere that you’d expect from the most popular cafes in Melbourne. While it can sometimes be a bit too frantic for the staff to handle, the coffee and food are worth the wait from your vintage table and recycled wooden bench; especially on a sunny morning in the courtyard. You can come back later in the day to find a substantial dinner menu with reasonable prices.

The Mediterranean and Middle Eastern infusion throughout the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus makes for surprising choices, and some delicious results.
