Felice’s is one of those rare hangouts where simplicity and good quality trump showy presentations or exotic blends. Put simply, drink your coffee or beer, enjoy it and relax. Alternatively have a nip of cognac with one of their homemade rolls, anything goes. Once inside you feel like you’ve accidentally walked into an old Italian gentleman’s bar from the post-war years. Simple, bare wooden paneling with plain hanging mirrors and plastic ashtrays blend to create a comfortable and laid back atmosphere where you can shoot the breeze and watch the world roll by.

Large tables accommodate recovering revelers just as well as families tucking into pizzas or calzones made behind the bar. There is no official menu, but there are some simple desserts on offer such as ricotta tart and chocolate cannelloni. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are friendly brother/sister owners - Felix and Ang - who don’t mind a chat. This is an ideal spot sit perched up at the bar for hours. Come early for lunch because it sells out fast, or drop in for a drink later in the evening.
