Ruaraidh Gunn, former professional royal tennis player, brings us Armadale cafe 8Days in his first hospitality venture.

8Days was named after what Gunn sees as the optimum time to grind coffee beans after roasting. At 8Days, the beans are roasted by Fives Senses then ground by the 8Days team, eight days later.

Priding themselves on a smart concept, fit-out and locale, 8Days is simple and streamlined in its offerings. Open for breakfast and lunch the food is made using top quality produce that is organic and free range. Highlights include the duck and brandy chipolatas with bubble and squeak, poached egg and a spiced tomato relish, or martini cured salmon with salted cucumber, bloody mary salsa and lavosh.

Located on High Street, Armadale, 8Days is a lively spot to read the paper with coffee in hand before indulging in a spot of shopping on the plush High Street strip.
