Home to this 1940’s themed bar for almost a decade, tucked behind the Tusk cafe, Back Bar is filled with ornate couches, gilded mirrors, and illuminated by mellow red, gold and orange hues. At first glance it can seem a bit extravagant, but with a little time - perhaps a cocktail or two - it becomes apparent that the Back Bar specialises in a cosy, relaxed, and warn-in atmosphere.

The cocktail list is extensive and varied with ‘Cocktails of the Month’ framed and posted above a well-stocked bar. There’s a daily happy hour (and complimentary hot snacks to go with it) as well as an open fireplace and a stack of board games shelved above it. While it’s quiet and sedate mid-week, come weekends the Gold Room is opened upstairs, adding another – busier – dimension to the bar.
