Hooray for cider! Enter Brunswick Street Cider House a place where you can experience all the charms and intriguing variety of craft ciders that are on offer.

There are eight ciders on tap, including 2 Brothers Gypsy Pear, Cheeky Rascal, Napoleone & Co, Kelly Brothers and Old Mout Boysencider, the last of which you won’t find on tap anywhere else. Make sure to have a pint of the farmhouse cider, which is served from a French oak barrel, while there’s even more choices to be had in the bottled cider selection (tip: Old Mout feijoa cider – you can thank us later). There are also four craft beers on tap and a neat organic wine list.

On the menu, there’s a selection of soups on offer, all of which are vegan; fat burgers and chips, which are served up with all manner of sauces and seasonings. The Grazing Plate is the way to go if you’re really hungry – you can have two ‘grazing’ dishes with a soup or salad for the steal of $22. If you go with that option, make sure you include the potato and mushroom croquettes – fried, crumbed balls of creamy herbed mushrooms and fluffy potato, served with a truffle aioli that you’ll want to smuggle home with you.

The staff here are passionate and knowledgeable about everything cider, and are more than happy to have a chat with you about their selections.
