Produced for this winter season and to be drunk with food, Voice of the People wine is nothing fancy, and it’s not meant to be.

S

itting atop the bar in a 23 litre demijohn is Voice of the People wine, a natural wine by Natural Selection Theory. This live table wine is a multi-regional blend of unfiltered wine made with no chemicals or preservatives. Produced for this winter season and to be drunk with food, this wine is nothing fancy and it’s not meant to be. It’s a very raw wine, a little wild even, and the wine makers have stipulated that it must be drunk out of tumblers, but that’s all part of the charm.

The Natural Selection Theory is a collaborative venture in natural winemaking by South Australians Sam Hughes, Anton Von Klopper, James Erskine and Tom Shobbrook.

The wine is topped with a mild organic olive oil the keep the wine fresh, which you can then use post wine drinking in salad dressings and to cook with.
