L
ate December, early January sees Melburnians flock to the coast, country or anywhere but here. This mass evacuation leaves the city eerily quiet. Subsequently many of our favourite cafes and restaurants close their doors during this time for a bit of respite. But for those of us staying home this summer, do not fear, there is still some life in this ghost town. The following cafes and restaurants will remain open (for most of the time, bar the days specified) to feed and caffeinate the masses.
