St Ali and Der Raum are teaming up for a one night only degustation dinner combining food, coffee and cocktails.

t’s the big question: when is coffee good with dinner? The answer, according to the guys at St. Ali, appears to be all the time. But it’s an even more compelling argument if you then shake it up via a cocktail.

In support of this theory, St. Ali has teamed up with the cocktail mix-masters of Der Raum (voted third best cocktail bar in the world, 2009) for a one night only degustation dinner combining those finer things in life: good food, great coffee and award-winning cocktails.

St Ali’s executive chef Ben Cooper will be bringing the favours of modern South East Asian cuisine to the table, complimented by Der Raum’s executive bartender, Matthew Bax’s collection of specialised and unique cocktails. Be prepared for marinated lamb rack married with a cigar and coffee-infused tipple, hinting at chocolate.

The combinations promise to be very intriguing indeed. It looks like we won’t have to decide between a nightcap or a coffee to finish.
