After bringing the crowds to the Richmond Weekender in March, the Fancy Hank’s boys are back, taking up residence at Joe’s Shoe Store during May.

A

fter the success of the Richmond Weekender in March, the boys behind Fancy Hank’s BBQ, Kent Bell and Rob Cattanach, are bringing Hank back.

After enlisting a crane to move their custom-made barbecue in and out of the Weekender, the pair, whose day job is that of owning and operating Collingwood cafe, Cavallero, are ready for another round.

They’re hitting Northcote bar Joe’s Shoe Store for the next four weeks, bringing their American-style barbecue with them. For three nights a week (Wed, Thurs, Sun), Fancy Hank’s will be in the courtyard of Joe’s serving up pulled-pork rolls, barbecue ribs and beef brisket.

Welcome back Hank!

Check out this video Tim Hillier made of a day on the BBQ with Kent Bell and Rob Cattanach from Fancy Hank's.
