Baker D. Chirico to open city pop-up store for Christmas

By Jane de Graaff, 20th October 2009

T
hose who know Baker D. Chirico and their ridiculously excellent baked goods, will no doubt be delighted to hear that they’re opening up shop in the CBD for the lead up to Christmas day- even if it is only temporary.

The official name is still TBC, but from November 24 there will be a pop-up store located at 24 Crossley Street, stocking all the Baker D. Chirico ready-made products from panettone to nougat.

Sadly there will be no coffee or sit-down pastries available at the Baker boutique (it’s a stock-up only option), but it will make getting your hands on their bread a lot easier this Christmas if you can’t make it to the St. Kilda store.

The pop-up will disappear again after Christmas Eve, but until then we expect to see lines down Crossley Street with people waiting to pick up some exclusive Christmas treats.

What: Baker D. Chirico pop-up store
Where: 24 Crossley Street, CBD
When: From Nov 24th until Christmas Eve, Mon-Sat: 10am-7pm
Enquiries: Baker D. Chirico, St. Kilda, (03) 9534 3777
