The address says ground floor, but this is more basement then off the street, and the rabbit warren that is Melbourne Central suits this slicker than slick nuclear bunker for the kids of the year 2166. The polished ebony black floor and tunnel like concrete and curved walls gives the whole space a sense of occasion. Floor to ceiling mirrors extend the store infinitely.
Saxony is competitively priced, which is code for not expensive, but don’t let that fool you, the brand is confident about their look and position and standing next to their Melbourne Central neighbours this added consideration is very welcome.
The palette very much reflects the stores aesthetic, so if you’re after colour you best go elsewhere, but for those fending off the future apocalypse, Saxony has your bases covered.
