Wrangler are taking inspiration from the Venice Beach skate scene in the 70's for their latest collection.

T

here’s nothing best than a good, old pair of blue jeans. Wrangler has been making them just right for years, and not much has changed since they started. Lucky for them, inspiration from bygone eras like the 70s are back in fashion, so for their most recent collection High Summer, Wrangler is taking inspiration from the Venice Beach skate scene back then.

For the ladies there’s skin tight, high-waisted Twiggy pants in light denim, figure hugging shorts in the original destroyed wash, reminiscent of style from the Wrangler advertisements of the 70’s. There’s also vests and shirts, and they’re even doing a crocheted swimsuit, the emphasis of course remaining firmly on the denim.

The men’s range includes staple slim Strangler cut in heritage blue and rinse washes, as well as light Italian stretch denim, and denim shirts for on top.

Who ever said there was anything wrong with double denim?
