ast year one of our favourite local labels, TV, started designing small capsule collections for Topshop. This year, as part of Topshop’s Emerge collection, the British retailers have selected six designers from around the world whose clothes they’ve really fallen for. It’s a small collection, but one that incorporates a mix of patterns, fabrics and textures typically TV, cut with feminine shapes, heavy structuring and intricate tailoring.

You see, designers Monika Tywanek and Ingrid Verner know that some ladies like to dress for comfort but look elegant, and so the Emerge Topshop collection showcases their work in a handful of eclectic pieces including perforated linen trousers and maxi skirt, button front jacquard skirt, stitch midi dress and check swing dress.

TV have become so exclusive that you pretty much have to order their garments from overseas to wear them on the streets of their hometown. It feels crazy, but we know it’s worth it.
