Someday pops up next door to Cutler & Co. from tomorrow.

W

arehouse sales don’t always bring out the best in people. The rag trade is notoriously dog-eat-dog and when the stakes are as high as at Someday’s pop-up sale store, which opens on Saturday (June 9). It will be well worth the trouble, with products from Someday’s in-house label P.A.M., skate wear purveyors Supreme, Original Fake, Bernhard Wilhelm and more set to line the racks, and inevitably, the communal change room floor.

After collaborating on P.A.M. and opening Someday, Misha Hollenbach and Shauna Toohey have taken their kitschy, pom-pom adorned designs to the people of Tokyo and beyond, whilst bringing a little something back home to Someday in the process. The sale will reflect the pair’s idiosyncratic aesthetic with a couple of interesting additions to the space.

Music will be provided by Bamboo Musik and Daycare DJs alongside what will no doubt be a very necessary caffeine hit from city brewer, Patricia Coffee.

If all else fails, Cutler and Co. is just next door and available for spending what you saved at the sale.

The Someday pop-up sale is at 53 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy will run from Saturday June 9 to Sunday June 17 from 11am–6pm daily.
