Scout House Opens

Opening last week, Scout House is a boutique homewares shop in St Kilda with unique pieces sourced from all over the world.

cout House, a boutique homewares shop that opened last weekend in St Kilda knows how to make an impression on Grey Street. The store is the product of Orlando Mesiti’s eye for rustic and handmade antiques, after years of international travel and experience in the homewares industry.

For Mesiti, Scout House sets out to be an exciting new addition to the local scene, combined with an eclectic mix of internationally sourced pieces that are exclusive to the store. Isamu Noguchi’s delicate handmade paper lamps direct from New York and Astier de Villatte scented candles from France are just a few of the international influences, but the individuality of this shop is made by the evolutionary and ever-changing nature of the collection that will vary continuously.

For Scout’s, it’s all about keeping it interesting and always providing the customer with a new inspiration to add something different to their home. It might be an antique French mail sorting stand one day, or a handmade and locally designed tea towel the next, but Scout House it set to be a destination store for anyone who loves all things home.
