Mani-mania continues with Kester Black's new range of varnishes, free of nasty chemicals.

N

ail art is huge right now, with a vast array of colours (and multiple versions of every single one of those shades) available on the market for your manicuring pleasure. This month, yet another nail polish range makes its debut: Kester Black.

Initially established as a jewellery label producing two collections a year, by Anna Ross’s Kester Black has expended into a line of nail polishes to match her jewellery pieces. After all, what better way to accentuate those rings on your fingers and bracelets on your wrist than a lick of lacquer on your nails?

Kester Black has released eight candy-bright shades, inspired by Willy Wonka and his fabulous factory of sweets. The colours include Marshmallow, Ice Cream Soda, Bubblegum and Tutti Frutti and more. What you won't find in any of those bottles are toluene, DBP or formaldehyde, all of which are highly toxic and detrimental to health. The range is not only free of the nasty chemicals that are harmful to humans, but is also eco-friendly.

So whether you're a mani-purist and like a one-colour look or a mani-maniac and prefer your tips with patterns, glitter and rainbows, Kester Black has your nails covered.

Kester Black nail polish is available for $16 a bottle online and in Melbourne at OKOK and Filly’s Stable.
