here seems to be a plethora of desert boots out there at the moment - this may be an indication for some to avoid this style at all costs. But the right suede boot can really underscore an outfit. Searching through an endless array, it’s the design subtleties and affordability of this Fred Perry shoe that make it a smart option.

Informal but polished, these rubber soled ankle boots are a hybrid desert sneaker - sometimes referred to as a Chukka. For the low price point, they are surprisingly clean in construction and shape. The suede is just the right shade of camel accented by white laces, and they work just as well with jeans as a flat front trouser.
