hip Chop! is the whimsical brand of designer Hannah Chipkin. Making her foray into the Australian market in 2006 with cute, French-inspired canvas totes and denim bags, Chipkin is extending her reach to include homewares and lifestyle products. “It’s all about meaningful nonsense,” she says laughingly. Her brand conjures images of plein air painters on the banks of the Seine, berets and breadsticks. It’s clever, cute and chic all at once.
