bassike Launches Eyewear

Our favourite local basics label is doing what it does best with the introduction of an eyewear line.

he evolution of bassike into a fully-fledged lifestyle brand continues, branching out from their original cotton t-shirts to denim, leather, knits and now eyewear. As always, the focus is on classic but luxurious styles, fashionable but not so much so that you’ll have to buy a new pair next season.

Conceived in collaboration with renowned eyewear designer Danny Sekulich of Inkon, bassike eyewear launches with just three simple styles in classic tortoiseshell, polished or matte black, as well as the seasonal colours of navy blue, vintage gold, chambray and blood orange. Made in Japan with the finest quality materials, these sunglasses prove that sometimes basic is best. We want some for summer.
