ACNE Opens Second Store

Swedish jeans label and design collective, ACNE, has opened its second Melbourne studio on High Street, Armadale.

veryone’s favourite Swedish jeans and clothing collective, ACNE, has opened its second Melbourne studio on High Street, Armadale. The brand (whose name is shorthand for Ambition to Create Novel Expressions, so banish those flashbacks to teenage outbreaks) has continued the themes of the GPO location in a bigger, airier location. The 2010 winter collection of printed silk dresses and army-green tones graces the racks running the length of the shop, keeping the southerners in sync with their northern cousins. The distinctive accessories are displayed in glass cabinets and it’s denim heaven up the back, with a wall of jeans to choose from.
