Music fans flock out of the cities when the sun comes out, on road trips down the river-like highways to the outlying parts of the state. Its no wonder - there is a marvelous smattering of music festivals every year in country Victoria.

This summer they are heading towards the Murray, for the inaugural Riverboat Festival, which runs from the 17-19th of February 2012, in Echuca-Moama.

Colin Hay is headlining - the man most famous for writing Land Down Under, but well know all over Australia for his beautifully constructed lyricism, and his charismatic stage banter. Mark Seymor, Tex Perkins and The Bamboos are also playing - rounding off a mostly Australian lineup.
