As part of its opening season, Hamer Hall will host award-winning artist, Macy Gray. The gifted songwriter is no stranger to the spotlight, winning several Grammy, MTV and BRIT awards, and will visit Sydney, the Gold Coast and Brisbane, finishing at Arts Centre Melbourne’s Hamer Hall.

Since her debut album On How Is Life in 2000, which spawned her most well-known single I Try, Macy Gray has forged a career creating music that pushes boundaries, covering styles from experimental soul to hip-hop and alternative rock to retro-disco.

This event at Hamer Hall is sure to be an evening to remember, as Gray’s distinctive raspy voice and soulful singing style echoes around one of the greatest performance spaces in Melbourne.
