There's something magnetic about the sounds behind our favourite video games. Now as part of the ACMI's Game Masters exhibit, the two-day exhibit Late Bit is a showcase of some of Melbourne's best synth artists.

For just two days, you can enter the world of Games Masters and experience an eclectic mix of game-inspired live music and entertainment, game playing and mingling. Play over 125 games and trawl through consoles, PC and mobile platforms to experience some of the best arcade games of the ‘80s.

On September 27, navigate your way through a line up of local synth masters with Late Bit: Synth Pop!. The line up includes interdisciplinary musicians such as Galapagoose (aka artist Trent Gill) and Dj Zeal and Kikyuy (aka Sez Wilks), merging melodic harmonies with synth pop tenors.

For the final event on 25 October, Late Bit: End Game, visitors can catch the synthy sounds of Comeback Kid DJs, electro geeks Mintendo and experimental pop duo Oscar + Martin.
