McIvor Estate is putting its produce to good use - in the form of cooking school. Their newest class, 'A Focus on Olives' does just that - a day spent picking and learning all about olives.
The day begins with a lesson on picking the olives, followed by lessons on what to do with your fruit - to prepare, pickle or cook. The day finishes with a recipe idea swap, all over olive-inspired dishes and a few glasses of wine.
Participants are sure to come out of the day with a new-found appreciation for the Mediterranean fruit - and a whole bunch of new recipes to try at home.
