Sharon Russell’s new solo exhibition at Hand Held Gallery pays tribute the hoarder in all of us. She uses personal everyday objects, bits and bobs from around the house, and most interestingly pieces of her own hair, to create. The artist has been collecting her own hair for a while now, and hair of family and friends, and the result is surprisingly delicate and detailed display of human DNA. The show, entitled Collection, displays stitching of into doilies amongst other crafty wares, and runs until June 25.
