The Melbourne Bike Festival kicks off with this fun three-day event presented in partnership with Treadlie Magazine and as part of the Sustainable Living Festival ‘Big Weekend.’

Working together with The Squeaky Wheel, The Sustainable Living Festival contributes informative workshops, artwork, and leading solutions to ecological and social challenges to the Melbourne Bikefestival.

The Bikefest Treadlie Market will house stalls featuring bike distributors, craftspeople, collectors and enthusiasts, offering a unique DIY take on what many people considered to be a pretty hard-wired item–the bicycle. Visitors will also be able test-ride tons of bikes and connect with a long roster of bike-centric events around the city.

After its popular showcase at the previous Melbourne Bikefest, the Better by Bike is back this year and the winners will be announced on Sunday 19 February at the Bikefest Treadlie Market.

And when you arrive at the Market, you’ll be able to treat your ride with style by using the Role Up Bicycle Valet parking at Federation Square. It is all about you and your bike, after all.
