On September 20, there will be a pox on both of the Brown houses. As part of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, Bottega is hosting a family vino-off where the two Brown family-owned wineries, All Saints Estate and Brown Brothers, will compete to see who has the best drops.

But don’t worry, this isn’t Romeo and Juliet. This is a joyous family feud: the Brown family is celebrating 10 successful years in the Italian food and wine industry.

So, prepare for the battle ground by taking a seat at the communal table for an evening of tasting antique wines paired with a five course Italian feast, curated by Bottega’s head chef, Gabriele Olivieri.

And if you add a touch of brown to your wardrobe you could walk away with a ticket to a gourmet weekend amongst the vines and oak barrels of northeast Victoria.
