Branford Marsalis, American jazz musician and composer is performing with the Branford Marsalis Quartet to showcase the 2009 album release 'Metamorphosen'. Born in 1960 in Lousiana, USA, Marsalis comes from a family of jazz musicians. Playing with the likes of Art Barkley, Lionel Hampton, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie. He established his own record label, Marsalis Music in 2002.
