Surfer Blood is another great sideshow to snap up thanks to the international pull of Splendour in the Grass. These Foridians, hailing from West Palm Beach, are making only two pit stops in Melbourne and Sydney while on our shores either side of their Splendour show. This indie/surf rock group produced their debut single 'Swim' at the tail-end of '09, which somehow still pipped 37th place as one of the best songs of the year. 'Classic indie' has been pinned to their debut album 'Astro Coast', who's influence includes groups such as Pavement and Japondroids.

P.S. Just for the record, none of them surf!
