Alison Goldfrapp and Wil Gregory might very well be the last of of the great eccentric avant-pop duos à la Eurythmics, Pet Shop Boys, and Soft Cell. The British electronic duo are in Australia for, you guessed it, Splendor in the Grass, and are doing two sideshows in Melbourne and Sydney. Expect to hear the latest from their most recent album, Head First, released in March this year. Get your freak-on with 1980s influenced synth-pop, and perhaps even Alison's Olivia Newton-John inspired get-up that featured in their video for the album's 'Alive' single.
