From it's prime location to exhibitions inspired completely by the City of Melbourne’s Art and Heritage Collection. Specialist curators work in collaboration with artists and filmmakers to deliver free, quarterly exhibitions with a focus on our city life - past and present.

Two large windows provide the face for the intimate but light filled gallery space and see out onto a busy streetscape. Like an artist watches their subject matter, you get the feeling that City Gallery is observing its ever evolving subject matter and recording it's idiosyncrasies.
