Now taking place in more than 400 cities around the world, PechaKucha Night has evolved into a massive global celebration that is now as much about conversation and connectivity as its strict 20x20 format. The first Melbourne PechaKucha was held last year as a fundraising appeal for earthquake victims in Haiti and was hosted by Here Studio, who now run events four times a year at various locations around Melbourne.

Running as part of the opening night of the State of Design Festival, the latest PechaKucha instalment will take place amid the plaza created at by Nathan Coley for his Appearances exhibition at ACCA, with visitors invited to meet, network, show their work in public, or listen to others do so, all the while enjoying some locally-made craft beer and street food.
