Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

25th November 2009

O
n Friday night The Commission Gallery in Prahran will host the opening of the Goodbye Yellow Brick Road group exhibition, a benefit to raise money for Youth with Cancer via The Alfred Hospital.

The exhibition was inspired by the organisers close friend Kristen Royce, who died from cancer aged 23. Last year’s highly successful benefit exhibition Wakes Me Into raised more than $10,000.

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road has called for a broad range of ‘visual thinkers’ to respond to the title theme, more for their idea orientated process than their chosen mediums or outcomes. The contributing artists include Sally Smart, James Cameron, Jonathan Zawanda, Beci Orpin and Tim Barber.

We encourage everyone to drop by on Friday night to have a drink and check out the work of some very exciting local and international creatives all while supporting a good cause.

The exhibition opens on Friday the 27th of November (6pm-9pm) at The Commission Gallery 25 Bray Street, Prahran.
