ometimes it’s the small things, like a place to put your pens or the tea cup you drink out of that can make you feel a little bit special. Inspired by her crafty grandmother and great grandmother, who made calligraphy and hand-painted China heirlooms respectively, Melbourne based graphic designer Courtenay Graham has recently launched her gift and homeware brand, Frida Plumm.

Intricately designed and independently developed in-house, the Frida Plumm range of fine bone china (tea cups, saucers and vases), silverware and stationery is carefully considered and tailored, and feels like something your own grandma might wrapped in cotton wool and tucked under her bed to pull out on a special occasion. It's that precious too.

Inspired by rich textiles of typography, fashion and architecture of bygone eras, stamped with Graham's signature contemporary design style, and we love that this the Frida Plumm range celebrates the act of giving and receiving, because who doesn't like presents?
