Find a Carpark

If you're sick of circling the block for a park hopefully, but to no avail, you'll be interested to hear about this new inner city parking concept.

arking in the city is one of the things I try to avoid at all costs. Firstly, I'm not a very patient driver, so it just gets me flustered, all that tiresome but hopeful circling of the block to no avail. Secondly, it’s damn expensive. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way, so you'll be relieved to hear about this new inner city parking initiative findacarpark.com.au. It’s a Melbourne based concept that is really taking off in the CBD and inner city suburbs (both here and interstate).

Basically it works like this. The site connects owners of unused car parks with people wanting to rent or buy those spots near work or uni. So, it’s a way for owners to gain a passive income and renters/buyers to find cheap parking deals. The owner of the spot pays a small listing fee and the renter/buyer enquires for free and pays the owner direct.

It sounds like a great idea. Check it out for yourself.
